plays a vital role in the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem, designing, building, owning, and operating vertiports that enable eVTOL operators to take off and land in cities around the world.

The Role:
We are expanding our Middle East office located in Dubai and are looking for Business Operations Manager to support our growth across the region. The role span a wide range of responsibilities from finance, people, admin and office management. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is excited to join a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of the fastest growing team in our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
Being the Central Purchasing Coordinator for the office in paying bills including mobile phones, lease, utilities and consolidating office specific purchases including company stash and business cards
Co-managing corporate bank accounts
Support company accountants with statutory filing obligations
Creating and managing invoices, including chasing of unpaid invoices between client and accounts team in HQ
Other ad hoc finance duties as they arise
People / Admin
:
Co-ordinating with the central UK office in the development of job descriptions, posting of jobs, assessment of applications and scheduling of job interviews
Working with the central UK office in the onboarding and offboarding of employees including general paperwork for staff joining and leaving the office, applying for visas, work permits and co-ordination of exit interviews
Coordinating with the UK office to administer payroll changes
Managing and executing on people policies including filing government paperwork
Assisting on the organisation of travel arrangements for wider Middle East team, including oversight of corporate apartment in Dubai Manage and maintain company's physical assets and processes
Organisation and coordination of office administrative duties and procedures
Supports operations by maintaining office systems/facilities - inclusive of liaising for IT matters
Oversees facility management matters such as fixed asset inventories
Oversees company cleaning, maintenance and workplace safety matters
Manage, co-ordinate and execute exhibitions and events.
Office Management
:
Keeping track of office supplies and stationery inventory and ensuring timely replenishment (business card, letterhead, envelopes etc.)
Arranging room bookings and general facility management
Organising team activities and social events with partners
Other
:
Support with incorporation of additional entities in the region
Ad-hoc duties and projects as may be required
About You:
5+ years' experience within a similar role (business operations, accounts assistant, office management)
Diploma or above experience, degree and associated accounting certificate desirable
Experience working with internal/external stakeholders in multiple geographic regions
Experience with UAE visa applications desirable
Self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to learn quickly and be detail oriented
Display responsibility (punctual and reliable), stability and maturity in the role
Be pro-active and a problem solver and flexible when dealing ad-hoc queries from vendors, colleagues or authorities
Ability to work well under pressure, and a flexible approach to a wide range of tasks
Strong proficiency with MS Word and Excel
Fluent English and Arabic written and spoken essential
