:

  • Lead all post-contract commercial and business management activities for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contract conditions and CITIC internal controls.
  • Act as the primary commercial liaison with the Client, Engineer, and Consultant, managing post-award correspondence, meetings, and negotiations.
  • Manage interim payment applications, variations, claims, and final accounts, ensuring timely submission, accuracy, and full contractual entitlement.
  • Oversee change management, including valuation of variations, assessment of cost and time impact, and negotiation of commercial settlements.
  • Monitor and control project financial performance, including cost control, cash flow, forecasts, and margin protection.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Directors, Planning, QS, and Finance teams to align commercial strategy with site progress and programme milestones.
  • Lead the preparation and defence of Extension of Time (EOT) and associated cost claims, supported by proper records and programme analysis.
  • Manage subcontractor post-contract matters, including payment certifications, variations, claims, and dispute avoidance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities, maintaining updated risk registers and recovery strategies.
  • Prepare and present commercial reports and dashboards to senior management, supporting informed decision-making and project governance.
