Our client specializes in industrial and commercial products for oil and gas; petrochemical, marine, renewable energy, energy storage; chemicals and other process industries.

We are recruiting a UAE experienced business excellence specialist with ISO and QHSE experience to join their Ras Al Khaimah team.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility of QHSE, ISO and process improvement within a production and trading environment.

Role Summary

• Develop and implement Business Excellence framework and systems to assess and track current operational practices and make recommendations for continuous and sustainable improvement.

• Develop SOPs for all departments and ensure all policies, processes and frameworks are accurately documented and updated as required.

• Develop and implement an Integrated Management System for product, service, and process excellence in addition to monitoring metrics and drive continuous quality improvement.

• Develop, implement and maintain an effective HSE management system as per OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standard requirements.

• Manage all QHSE requirements for full cycle production \xe2\x80\x93 statutory and best practice governance, training (tool box talks), auditing, reporting and corrective measures are implemented, followed up and closed out.

• Ensure all improvement, corrective and remedial requirements are actioned in a timely manner to significantly improve efficiency and quality, eliminate non-value-added activities and reduce costs.

• Develop rigorous KPI metrics and dashboards to build high performance teams.

• Optimize waste management and implement initiatives to reduce waste and improve sustainability.

• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports - identify, investigate and report on areas of concern and gaps where practices and controls are inadequate and a risk.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 7 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a lead auditor in QHSE, ISO and process improvement in an engineering environment.

• In-depth experience as a change agent and driver of business improvement, process transformation, operational and business excellence.

• Capabilities in breaking down end-to-end processes to identify and automation and improvement opportunities and create automation and transformation roadmaps.

• Experience of creating a proactive safety culture and zero incident workplace.

• Project management tools Microsoft Visio and MS Project.

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, NEBOSH, Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and analyze large data sets.

• Experience of working in Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone (RAKEZ) is a strong advantage.

• UAE driving license is mandatory.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering is mandatory.

• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to work in Ras Al Khaimah.

• Fluent in English with a good command of written English.
