Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target new business opportunities across
Air, Sea, and Land freight segments
.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and partners globally.
Conduct regular market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitors.
Prepare and present customized proposals, quotations, and service offerings.
Negotiate terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Follow up on leads generated through marketing and internal referrals.
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and pipeline in CRM systems.
Participate in logistics trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
Provide feedback to management on service improvements and market demands.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and shipping industry (Air, Sea, Land logistics).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sales acumen.
Ability to understand client requirements and propose the right logistics solutions.
Good understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and trade documentation.
Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role within the shipping or logistics industry.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel for client visits.
