URGENT HIRING: Business Development Manager - Residential Protective Coatings
1. Position Summary:
Champion revenue growth for premium exterior and interior protective- coating systems - roof, facade, basement, and anti-carbonation solutions - targeted at villa-communities, apartment developers, and homeowners' associations across the Gulf. You will shape go-to-market strategy, cultivate channel partnerships, and convert technical value propositions (durability, energy efficiency, sustainability) into profitable contracts.
2. Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion:
Map and prioritise high-growth residential clusters (e.g., Emirates Hills, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Islands, Meydan, etc.).
Perform TAM/SAM analyses and set quarterly territory plans.
New qualified opportunities ? AED 50 M per quarter
Solution & Consultative Sales:
Conduct on-site substrate audits with application engineers; recommend coating systems that meet ASTM/Dubai Municipality specifications and Dubai Green Building Regulations.
Develop ROI models (heat-gain reduction, repaint cycle extension).
Win rate ? 35 % o Avg. deal margin ? 30 %
Channel & Partner Management:
Recruit and certify applicator contractors; negotiate volume rebates and exclusivity terms.
Activate distribution through building-material retailers and e-commerce platforms.
Channel-sourced revenue ? 40 % of total
Key-Account Leadership:
Secure specification in tender documents with consultants, architects, and FM firms.
Run quarterly business reviews with top 10 developers/HOAs. o Strategic account growth ? 20 % YOY
Marketing Alignment:
Brief marketing on homeowner persona insights; co-create digital campaigns highlighting UV resistant and low-VOC credentials.
Present at trade shows (The Big 5, Cityscape).
Marketing-qualified leads conversion ? 30 %
Forecasting & Reporting:
Maintain full-funnel visibility in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot).
Deliver monthly revenue forecasts within 10 % accuracy.
CRM data hygiene 100 % 3.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: 6+ years in B2B/B2G coatings, construction chemicals, or building-envelope products; at least 3 years closing projects in the Dubai residential sector.
Education: Bachelor's in Chemical / Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Business; NACE CIP or SSPC PCI certification desirable.
Technical Acumen: Familiar with polyurea, elastomeric, epoxy, and cool-roof technologies; capable of reading drawings, BOQs, and specifying DFT/WFT, adhesion, and permeability criteria.
Network: Established relationships with UAE developers (Emaar, Aldar, Nakheel), consultants (AECOM, Atkins), and FM providers (Imdaad, Emrill).
Regulatory Knowledge: Working grasp of RERA handover standards, Dubai Municipality facade maintenance code, and UAE fire-retardant classifications.
Tools: Proficient in CRM, MS Project, and basic thermal/energy-modelling software (e.g., DesignBuilder).
License & Mobility: Valid UAE driving licence; regional travel up to 25 %.

5. Performance Metrics (First 12 Months):
AED 25 million in new residential-segment coating contracts.
Specification in 15 consultant/architect tender docs.
Two new certified applicator partners onboarded per quarter.
Customer satisfaction (CSAT) ? 90 % on post-application surveys.
6. Compensation & Benefits:
Base: AED 7K - 9K / month.
Commission: Tiered commission structures.
Company car or allowance, fuel card, medical insurance (family option), annual flight tickets.
