As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, driving strategic partnerships, and boosting revenue growth. You'll work closely with production, marketing, R&D, and sales teams to position our brand products competitively and expand our market share.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base month on month,
Empower the team and guide them to achieve the monthly targets & review the performance of team and each individual on a regular basis.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including B2B partnerships, retail channels, and export markets
Conduct market research to understand consumer behaviour, competitor landscape, and emerging trends
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and institutional clients
Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to tailor offerings to market needs
Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with key stakeholders
Monitor KPIs of team members and prepare regular performance reports for senior management
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
Forecast and share the Quarterly, Half yearly and Annual projection to the production team for planning.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in FMCG or detergent/chemical industry
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
