PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Business Development Manager is a strategic and entrepreneurial role responsible for identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new growth opportunities. The position requires strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and the ability to conduct detailed feasibility studies that support informed decision-making. The role suits a proactive professional who thrives in dynamic environments, is comfortable with ambiguity, and can translate ideas into actionable and profitable business strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Bacheloru0027s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
MBA preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in business development, market research, and feasibility analysis
- Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities
- Demonstrated experience preparing business cases and strategic proposals
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Experience using project management tools and business software
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as an internal entrepreneur, driving innovation and identifying new revenue streams
- Develop business proposals and feasibility studies for management review and approval
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Analyze market and financial data to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, projections, and recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and prioritize growth initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
- Engage with potential investors and external partners to secure new business opportunities
- Oversee projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Monitor performance of initiatives against KPIs, budgets, and timelines
- Evaluate outcomes and integrate lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
