Job Description

The BD Manager, Eastern Hemisphere is responsible for coordinating sales growth and sales strategy in Eastern Hemisphere (EBU) to achieve increased annual sales and gross margins as per Reactive Strategic Objectives. Reactive Downhole Tools is in search of a candidate having deep-rooted knowledge of swellable products and a history of driving success in this specialized field.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and Implemet a sales strategy for the region in conjunction with VP Eastern Hemisphere Train & motivate the EBU sales team to ensure they meet their individual goals Maintain a portfolio of customers and provide support to the EBU sales team Liaise with other Reactive sales offices to ensure our joint sales and margins are maximized Identify new customers, products and markets to increase Reactive sales Identify new products or technical opportunities that will become new Reactive product lines Develop sales and marketing strategy to maximise Reactive sales Ensure smooth interaction of sales team with other Reactive departments Prepare a monthly management report presenting the KPIs Strategic Plan and Comparative Performance Liaise with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices Advise on marketing and exhibitions to ensure sales team maximise Reactive sales impact The maintenance of, adherence to, and improvement of the Reactive quality systems and procedures, including by not restricted to continual ISO 9001 compliance Develop, support, and actively encourage a culture of continual improvement by implementing improvement programs that involve team members and other employees Support all Reactive functions and personnel in the timely and effective delivery of all business goals and objectives Support, encourage and implement a \xe2\x80\x98make it happen\xe2\x80\x99 and \xe2\x80\x98do it now\xe2\x80\x99 culture Manage and develop all subordinates effectively to deliver company objectives. Implement development and performance management programs where required and ensure effective, on-time delivery of performance appraisals Foster an open and involving approach with all employees. Encourage and develop team to support delivery of all business goals and objectives Lead by example and always demonstrate role model traits Undertake tasks as requested by Manager
Competency Criteria:
People skills Can Do Attitude Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Science discipline or has gained proven practical experience which equates to this level qualification High degree of numeracy and literacy Leadership skills with strong people skills Strong customer orientation with an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into a sale Previous experience in Technical Sales Team Management role Previous experience of Oilfield Sales Computer literate with excellent oral and written communication skills English language skills, verbal and written Strong organizational skills to maintain systems, processes, history and to recognize and implement any potential improvements
