Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving the growth of Small Steps by identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and expanding the center's reach across Dubai and the UAE. The role requires a results-oriented professional who can develop strategies, strengthen community and school relationships, and promote Small Steps' services and training programs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the organization's vision and growth targets.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations with schools, corporations, and community organizations.
Promote Small Steps services and enroll new children in therapy programs, training courses, and workshops.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, clients, and stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
Lead marketing and outreach efforts in collaboration with the operations and marketing teams.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients and partners.
Work closely with the management team to set and achieve growth targets.
Represent Small Steps at events, exhibitions, and conferences to raise awareness of our mission and services.
Track, report, and analyze business development activities and performance against KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in special education, Business Administration, Marketing, Education Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the education, training, or healthcare sector.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to meet targets and deliver results.
Knowledge of the UAE education and regulatory landscape (KHDA, CDA, DHA) is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
