This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring revenue targets are met. The manager will lead the entire sales process--from prospecting to contract negotiation--while staying ahead of market trends and competitor activities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies for our steam turbine and gas turbine aftermarket business, ensuring alignment with business plan requirements and targets.
Build and nurture relationships with customers.
Identify customer drivers and market dynamics to promote our service offerings and secure new business opportunities effectively.
Lead the sales process from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and handover to the delivery team.
Successfully negotiate customer contracts.
Understand competitor offerings and develop regional strategies to compete effectively.
Manage commercial risks and coordinate the resolution of technical issues
Achieve quarterly sales targets and new business acquisition goals, ensuring a strong sales pipeline with consistent deal closures.
Key Requirements
Deep understanding of the power generation and oil&gas market, including key partners in the market and knowledge of customer's business and its key drivers
Proven experience in sales within the power generation or oil & gas, with a strong understanding of market dynamics.
Significant knowledge of the customer base, ideally operating GE-vintage gas and steam turbines.
A strategic approach with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing deals and improving profitability.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to meet or exceed quarterly revenue and new business acquisition targets, maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Educated to Degree level or equivalent relevant working experience.
Technical Knowledge (understanding the technical solution and the boundary conditions of our offering)
English skills at a professional working proficiency level. An additional language is desirable.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an as-needed basis.
