Job Brief:
Our client, a leading digital marketing agency is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team in Dubai. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, building client relationships, and expanding the client base. Your focus will be on the digital marketing industry, and you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for bringing new clients on board.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: A strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including Social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and online advertising, is essential. This knowledge helps in crafting effective strategies and providing valuable insights to clients.
  • Market Research: The ability to conduct thorough market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive landscapes is crucial for developing successful marketing strategies.
  • Networking: A BDM in this field should be skilled at networking and building relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers. Attending industry events and conferences can be part of this.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and create long-term plans that align with the client\xe2\x80\x99s goals are important. This includes setting clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions is vital. This includes tracking campaign performance, analyzing metrics, and making adjustments based on data-driven insights.
  • Content Strategy: Understanding how to develop and execute content strategies that resonate with the target audience is crucial, as content plays a central role in digital marketing.
  • Social Media Management: Expertise in managing and optimizing social media accounts, including content scheduling, engagement strategies, and analytics, is a key skill in this role.

Job Requirements:
  • Must have 5 - 7 years of experience in a digital media agency in Dubai.
  • Target Driven.
  • Strong sales experience and understanding of social media marketing and digital assets.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in partnership development, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong in negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on partnership opportunities.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of successful partnership development.
  • A track record in the past 2-3 years of generating annual revenue between 1.5 to 2 million AED.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the digital marketing industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing channels, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Experience with project management tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and drive to succeed.
