As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to help the company grow by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development plan that focuses on increasing revenue, building the company\'s brand, and expanding its customer base.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying new business opportunities: This includes onboarding clientele, analyzing market trends, and identifying areas where the company can expand its services. This will involve finding creative ways to stand out from competitors and attract new customers.
- Developing and executing business strategies: Once new opportunities have been identified, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to pursue them.
- Building relationships with customers: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers. This may involve meeting with them on a regular basis, providing them with updates on the company\'s services, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Working with the team to close business: To ensure that the customer is satisfied with the service provided. This may involve addressing any issues that arise and providing additional support as needed.
- Identifying opportunities for repeat business: You will identify opportunities for repeat business with existing customers. This may involve upselling or cross-selling products or services, as well as identifying areas where the company can provide additional value to the customer.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess 20+ years of logistics experience from any multinational logistics company.
- Have strong relationships with existing market leaders who require any and all logistics services.
- Experience in selling logistics services, freight forwarding, 3PL, storage, ship charters, air charters, etc.
- Experience in selling to the Industrial sector, manufacturing, importers/exporters, distribution, freight forwarders who require end-to-end tailor-made logistics services, any customer who requires transportation by sea/air/road, 3PL services/warehousing, or any other logistics-related activities.
