Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development:
Identify and acquire new clients for logistics and freight services.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their logistics needs.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and market research.
Operations & Logistics Coordination:
Oversee the entire sales and logistics cycle from order confirmation to final delivery.
Coordinate with transport providers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and track shipments, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
Ensure accurate documentation for shipments, including invoices, customs paperwork, and delivery notes.
Customer Relationship Management:
Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving service issues.
Provide regular updates on shipment status, ensuring transparency and reliability.
Follow up with customers post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Reporting & Compliance:
Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and shipment details.
Prepare reports on sales performance, revenue growth, and market trends.
Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales and logistics, preferably in freight forwarding, supply chain, or transportation.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Ability to multitask, manage operations, and resolve logistics challenges efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in international freight and logistics sales.
Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and global supply chain operations.
Familiarity with CRM and sales tracking tools.
