The Business Development Executive will be responsible for expanding City Gate Group's business by developing strategic relationships with engineering consultants, clients, and contractors. The role focuses on securing subcontracting opportunities for steel works, negotiating agreements, maintaining long-term partnerships, and driving new project acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities for
steel fabrication and structural works
.
Build and maintain strong relationships with
engineering consultants, clients, and main contractors
.
Establish and manage
subcontracting agreements
for steel works.
Actively generate and follow up on
new project leads
.
Coordinate with estimation, engineering, and operations teams for proposal preparation.
Conduct regular client meetings and site visits.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.
Achieve assigned
sales and revenue targets
.
Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and contracts.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience
in sales or business development, preferably in
construction or steel works
.
Strong
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Good understanding of
UAE construction market
and project procurement processes.
Valid
UAE driving license
(mandatory).
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
Experience dealing with
engineering consultants and EPC contractors

Knowledge of
steel fabrication, structural steel, or construction projects
.
Existing network within the UAE construction industry.
