Job Summary



The Business Development Executive - Road Freight will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new and existing business opportunities in domestic and cross-border road transportation services. The role requires strong market knowledge, client relationship management, and the ability to achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities



Identify and develop new business opportunities for

domestic and international road freight services

. Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, transport companies, and key industry stakeholders. Prepare and present competitive quotations and proposals to potential customers. Negotiate rates, service terms, and contracts in line with company policies. Work closely with operations to ensure smooth execution of shipments. Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Maintain a sales pipeline and achieve assigned revenue and volume targets. Visit potential and existing clients to promote services and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety requirements. Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business plans.

Requirements



Education & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. 3years of experience in

road freight sales / logistics business development

.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of domestic and cross-border road freight operations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to generate leads and convert them into business. Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working under pressure. Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems. Valid driving license preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



Monthly/quarterly revenue from new clients. Number of new accounts acquired. Client retention rate. Customer satisfaction levels.
