Business Development Executive - IT/Software Solutions
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Overview:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be a key player in driving our company's growth. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and closing deals for our advanced software solutions. Your primary focus will be on promoting our portfolio in Data Solutions, AI, and Automation to a diverse range of clients across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively generate qualified leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, social selling (especially LinkedIn), and attending industry events.
  • Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and nurture the entire sales pipeline from initial contact to closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, key market trends, and potential client needs within the UAE's tech landscape.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Solution Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that clearly articulate the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle, including needs analysis, solution design, negotiation, and closing contracts to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful project handover.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, specifically selling IT services, software solutions, SaaS, or related technology products.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding and a genuine interest in Data Solutions, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Automation technologies.
  • Market Knowledge: Prior experience selling in the UAE market is highly preferred. An existing network of contacts is a significant advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident and skilled in delivering engaging and persuasive presentations and product demos.
  • Driver of Results: A self-starter with a hunter mentality, highly motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
