Overview of the role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. You will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, prospecting clients, developing strategies, and generating a portfolio of clients offering them tailored solutions to support their payments, FX and cross-border needs, helping them navigate the changing global payments landscape. You will work with our iBanq solution which is a state-of-the-art platform providing employees with a unique selling point offering FX and non-FX corporates virtual iBans and mass payment solutions.
This is a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by expanding our client base and promoting our suite of payment and foreign exchange services.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts.
Demonstrate progress toward sales target delivery using business development, pipeline management, and client relationship activities.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector to expand the client base.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company's brand and build professional relationships.
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, understanding their FX and Payment needs and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams, including trading and operations, to deliver comprehensive FX solutions to clients.
Analyse client portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend strategies to mitigate currency exposures.
Product Knowledge & Sales Expertise
Proficient use of sales techniques and product knowledge to promote IFX solutions and brand.
Learn and familiarise yourself with the IFX Payments product suite, including iBanq, to perfect a sales strategy for both FX and Payment prospects.
Market Awareness & Strategic Insight
Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact FX markets.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the business development function.
Requirements
Two years or more UAE based experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
