Job Description

The Business Development Executive- Vendor Sourcing is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new vendor relationships to support the company's strategic goals. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Vendor Identification & Qualification:
Conduct market research to identify potential new vendors across various categories.
Develop and implement strategies for sourcing new vendors, including online searches, industry events, networking, and cold calling.
Qualify potential vendors based on criteria such as quality, reliability, pricing, capacity, and sustainability practices.
Vendor Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendors.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
Regularly review vendor performance and provide feedback.
Market Analysis & Insights:
Monitor market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities related to vendor sourcing.
Analyze vendor pricing and cost structures to identify areas for cost savings and negotiation.
Prepare market analysis reports and presentations for Management.
Continuous Improvement:
Continuously seek ways to improve the vendor sourcing process and enhance vendor relationships.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement.
Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in vendor sourcing, procurement, or a related field.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
