Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be a key driver of growth, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and securing contracts for our comprehensive audio-visual production services. This role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the events, AV industry or hospitality in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
? Identify, prospect and qualify new potential clients, focusing on corporate entities, event management companies, hospitality groups and agencies requiring high-quality AV production services.
? Generate new sales leads and maintain a robust pipeline to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
? Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client needs and propose customized AV and production packages.
? Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals to maximize revenue and profitability.
2. Client Relationship Management:
? Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
? Act as the primary point of contact for new business accounts, ensuring a seamless handover to the Project Management team once a contract is secured.
? Attend industry events and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and secure new contacts.
3. Proposal and Market Expertise:
? Develop compelling, professional and technically accurate proposals and quotations for large-scale event productions (Audio Systems, Event Lighting, Video Display Systems, Live Streaming, etc.).
? Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities and technical advancements in the AV and events market to identify new opportunities.
? Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client information in the company CRM system.
Required Qualifications & Experience
? Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
? Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably within the Audio-Visual, Events Production, Hospitality or Technical Services industry in the UAE.
? Skills:
o Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
o Strong understanding of the events market and the technical requirements of AV production (e.g., sound, lighting, video, staging).
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
o Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a high-volume sales pipeline.
o Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
? Existing network of contacts within the UAE Corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) or Event Management sector.
? Experience selling technical services or solutions rather than just products
