Business Development Executive

Job Description

The BDE will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities while nurturing and strengthening relationships with existing clients. The role involves proactive engagement with key market sectors, strategic customers, and project pursuits. The BDE will oversee the entire sales process--from lead generation and client meetings to closing deals and providing after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities



Sales and Revenue Growth



Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local market. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Proactively explore and act on new sales leads.

Client Relationship Management



Establish and build relationships with new clients. Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and communications.

Strategic Planning and Marketing



Plan and oversee marketing initiatives to drive business growth. Develop strategies to penetrate key market sectors, including chemical/paint, food, and oil industries.

Sales Process Management



Conduct sales presentations and negotiations with clients. Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to post-sales support.

Administrative Duties



Maintain detailed records of sales activities using MS Office and ERP software. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Candidate Profile



Qualifications and Experience:



Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in industrial sales, with preference for candidates experienced in the chemical, paint, food, or oil industries. Proven track record as a Sales Executive or similar role.

Skills and Attributes:



Strong proficiency in English and Hindi. Excellent command of MS Office and hands-on experience with ERP software. Fast learner with a passion for sales and achieving results. Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Age Requirement:



25-30 years.
