Role Summary
The Business Development Executive will play a critical role in student acquisition and revenue generation through effective B2C telecalling. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales or admissions within the education domain, excellent communication skills, and a target-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate outbound calls to prospective students, parents, and working professionals to promote courses and programs
Manage inbound inquiries and provide detailed information regarding course offerings, fees, and enrolment procedures
Follow up with leads through calls, emails, and messages to ensure high conversion rates
Maintain and update lead records in the CRM system accurately
Achieve and exceed monthly targets for enrolments and revenue
Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to support outreach campaigns and student engagement
Participate in webinars, career counselling sessions, and education fairs as required
Candidate Profile
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in B2C sales, telecalling, or admissions--preferably in the education, training, or e-learning industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional regional language skills are an advantage)
Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and telecalling tools
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field
Familiarity with education sales cycles and student decision-making processes
Experience in handling both online and offline sales channels
