Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our shipping and logistics company.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry with a strong background in freight forwarding and customs clearance.
  • As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Generate revenue and achieve sales targets by actively promoting and selling products or services. 2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing suitable solutions. 3. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities. 4. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to customers. 5. Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. 6. Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner. 7. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and campaigns. 8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. 9. Prepare sales reports and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations. 10. Attend industry events and conferences to network and expand professional connections. 11. Achieve and maintain a high level of product knowledge and expertise. 12. Continuously strive to exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.
