Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Gold & Diamonds company. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by establishing strong relationships with corporates and retail outlets across the markets where our business operates. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, achieving sales targets, and representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Proficiency in English, Malayalam, and Hindi is essential for effective communication, and prior experience in the gold industry is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and establish connections with potential corporate clients and retail outlets to expand the company\'s reach and clientele. 2. Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients and partners to enhance customer loyalty and maximize business opportunities. 3. Sales Targets: Achieve reasonable sales targets to contribute to the company\'s revenue growth and market presence. 4. Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors\' activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. 5. Effective Communication: Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Malayalam, and Hindi to convey the company\'s value proposition, negotiate terms, and resolve inquiries. 6. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company\'s gold and diamond products to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and uniqueness to potential clients. 7. Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to connect with potential clients, partners, and industry professionals. 8. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to showcase our products and services, tailored to the specific needs of each client. 9. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards targets using Microsoft Office tools. 10. Telecalling (Added Advantage): Utilize telecalling techniques to initiate contact with potential clients, follow up on leads, and schedule meetings for in-person presentations. Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. - Minimum of three years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role. - Preferably, prior experience in the gold or jewelry industry. - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Gujarati/Malayalam, and Hindi. - Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships. - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. - Telecalling experience is an added advantage. - Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
