Business Development Executive Diagnostics

Job Description

Role Purpose



To support the growth of the Diagnostics division by engaging with insurance companies, hospitals, clinics, and corporates to generate leads, onboard clients, and secure contracts for lab-testing services. The role will focus on frontline business development activities, relationship building, and execution of initiatives that expand the lab's client base and revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities



Business Development



Identify and approach new potential clients including clinics, hospitals, insurance providers, and corporates. Generate leads through networking, referrals, and direct outreach. Support negotiations for service agreements and pricing under guidance of BD Manager. Follow up on proposals, tenders, and client queries to ensure timely closures.

Client Relationship Management



Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities. Act as a point of contact for day-to-day client communications and escalations. Support in contract renewals and documentation.

Market Research & Reporting



Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities. Maintain updated pipeline reports, sales trackers, and performance dashboards. Provide weekly/monthly updates to the BD Manager on activities and outcomes.

Cross-functional Collaboration



Work closely with Operations and RCM teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. Coordinate with marketing teams on campaigns, materials, and events to support BD activities.

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, insurance, or medical services. Familiarity with the UAE healthcare ecosystem (insurance companies, clinics, hospitals) is an advantage. Proven experience in client-facing roles with target achievement track record.

Skills & Attributes



Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Results-driven, with ability to work towards monthly/quarterly targets. Good negotiation and presentation abilities. Self-motivated with ability to work under supervision as well as independently. Organized, with good follow-up and reporting discipline.

Pay: Up to AED8,500.00 per month
