The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting strategic growth initiatives in upstream, midstream, and downstream segments. This position requires a deep understanding of the energy industry and a proven ability to generate and close new business.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the oil, gas, and energy services sectors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to client needs.
Collaborate with technical and operational teams to align service offerings with client requirements.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and develop a strong industry network.
Maintain CRM systems to track leads, client communications, and sales performance.
Support the preparation of tender documents, bids, and RFQs in collaboration with the proposals and commercial teams.
Meet or exceed defined sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the oil, gas, or energy services industry.
Strong understanding of the oil and energy value chain, particularly in service provision.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of local and international oil & gas regulations and procurement processes.
Existing network within oil companies, EPCs, drilling contractors, or service companies.
Experience with digital and sustainability trends in energy services (e.g., digital oilfields, energy transition solutions).
