Eco Formax is a premier fit-out and interior design firm known for transforming commercial [and/or residential] spaces into exceptional, functional environments. We are growing rapidly and seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional to join our leadership team.

This is a unique and pivotal role that combines your financial acumen with your sales passion. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating compelling and accurate project estimates, and closing deals that contribute directly to our company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation & Project Analysis (40%):

Analyze architectural drawings, interior design plans, and project specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out and interior design projects. Perform quantity take-offs (QTOs) and solicit pricing from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Prepare comprehensive and competitive proposals, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, overhead, and profit. Collaborate with the design and project management team to ensure estimates are accurate, feasible, and aligned with the design intent.

Sales & Business Development (40%):

Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales leads within the commercial [and/or high-end residential] fit-out market. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and projects. Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with architects, developers, real estate brokers, and potential clients. Lead client presentations and negotiations, effectively communicating the value proposition of [Your Company Name]. Close sales and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Marketing & Accounting Support (20%):

Collaborate on the development of marketing strategies, brochures, and case studies to support lead generation. Assist in managing the client lifecycle from lead to project handover, ensuring a smooth transition to the operations team. Monitor project financials post-sale, assisting with variance analysis between estimated and actual costs to improve future accuracy.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven track record (3+ years) in a similar role, preferably within the

interior fit-out, construction, or architectural services industry

. Strong experience in

cost estimation

, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and design documents. Demonstrable experience in

B2B sales and business development

, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and job costing. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift, or similar) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel). Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field. Existing network of contacts in the local commercial real estate or design community. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Knowledge of interior design principles and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
