This role is being hired on behalf of our client, a growing legal services business working closely with local and international law firms across multiple jurisdictions.
This role supports the client's expansion within the legal and professional services market, with a strong focus on relationship-led business development, market growth, and long-term partnerships across the Middle East and international legal markets.
About the Role
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working across the full business development lifecycle - from identifying opportunities and building relationships to shaping market presence and driving revenue. The role involves working closely with local and international law firms, with meaningful responsibility and autonomy from the outset. As the business grows, there is a clear opportunity to take on broader responsibilities and play a key role in building and leading future growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
? Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities with UAE-based and international law firms
? Build and manage long-term relationships with partners, associates, and decision-makers within law firms
? Lead client outreach, pitches, proposals, and commercial discussions
? Contribute to market expansion initiatives across new jurisdictions and practice areas
? Conduct market and competitor research to support strategic positioning
? Collaborate closely with internal legal, research, and delivery teams to ensure effective client outcomes
? Represent the business at legal industry events, conferences, and networking forums
? Track opportunities, maintain pipelines, and report on business development performance
Requirements
? 3-7 years of experience in business development or client-facing roles within legal services, law firms, or professional services
? Demonstrated experience engaging with and selling services to local and/or international law firms
? Strong understanding of law firm structures, decision-making processes, and client expectations
? Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
? High level of ownership, initiative, and commercial awareness
? Comfortable operating in a growing and evolving business environment
? Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
