About the role This role is responsible for supporting the APAC MEA Executive Director and Management Team with business operational tasks and projects.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Support the day-to-day workflow of the Executive Director by filtering and prioritising numerous tasks and activities, conducting analysis, preparing materials and presentations as well as participating in high status projects within the APAC MEA region.
  • Provide assistance and a wide level of administrative support that will allow the Executive Director and Regional Management team to function more efficiently and effectively towards the achievement of the APAC MEA business plan.
  • Manage operational business tasks and projects with little oversight and a strong ability to anticipate business requirements and opportunities to provide added value.
  • Research systems, resources and tools to secure relevant local process improvements and engage external contacts & networks relevant to the APAC MEA business plan (and general operational needs).
  • Manage applicable internal and external correspondence on behalf of the Executive Director.
  • Provide administrative and/or project coordination support to the Executive Director and Regional management team as required.
  • Act as a liaison between regional and central stakeholders to support the coordination of a broad range of activities and procedures that require action.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support for local Marketing and PR related events, acting as an exemplary representative of the Lotus brand and APAC MEA team at all times.
  • Provide office management support for the Dubai Regional Head office as well as remote support of required administrative functions for the Tokyo & Singapore sub-regional offices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential
  • Broad knowledge performing a similar role within a customer centric working environment.
  • Experienced in managing and/or monitoring internal budgets and working within budget constraints.
  • Able to work independently with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to demonstrate self-starting behaviours and a habitual use of own initiative.
  • Organised, reliable and results driven.
  • Excellent time management & communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with the aptitude to learn new software and systems.
  • Fluent English language skills. Holds a UAE driving license.
Desirable
  • Experience within a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Project management qualification(s).
  • Basic to fluent Arabic language skills.
  • Language skills across any other country within the APAC MEA region.
  • Access to a car.
