THE ROLE

The role rwill support the regional Financial Controller in on-going modelling and analysis business performance, reporting, budgeting & forecasting. The position requires not only the collection of data but more importantly financial support through the interpretation and analysis of the trends and interrelationships that allow informed business decisions to be made.
OPPORTUNITIES

• You will work closely, build and develop relationship with the Services Operations team.
• You will be the finance representative in the regional services scorecard review with the delivery controller.
• You will be the finance representative in the regional services project management review meetings.
• You will be responsible for the preparation of the regional services scorecard.
• You will have an in depth understanding and management of the Services P&L.
• You will communicate and convey results clearing, providing recommendations to meet financial targets.
• You will be responsible for Revenue, Cost and Cash forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• You will manage the external and Internal audit of services P&L and process controls.
• You will manage an offshore team based in the Shared Service Centre (\xe2\x80\x9cSSC\xe2\x80\x9d).
• You will review and manage any risk and exposure in the Net Working Capital.
• You will be responsible for cash inflow management including forecasting and budgeting.
• You will prepare analysis on project profitability and capacity planning to enable decision-making or help understand business drivers.
• You will support regional controllers on project accounting, forecasting and preparation of project control pack.
• You will assist the delivery controller in maintaining process for reviewing time and materials projects and ad-hoc analysis.
• You will maintain the Hyperion Database.
• You will upload the forecast in Oracle or ensure journal entries are done on time.
• You will consolidate and provide analysis on the balance sheet for region.
• You will prepare BV sheets for services.
• You will improve processes and financial modelling.

SKILLS

• You should be a fully qualified accountant.
• You should have an ACCA/CIMA certification.
• You should have Proven Experience in Finance and Accounting (more than 5 years).
• You should have a knowledge of revenue calculation based on percentage of completion on long term contracts.
• You should be highly analytical with good presentation skills.
• You should have at least 3 years relevant working experience within an MNC IT/software business environment.
• You should be adept and credible in senior management circles and perceived as a valuable business partner.
• You should have the ability to negotiate with the business to achieve desired outcomes.
• You should have a good understanding of internal controls, systems and process.
• You should manage and drive key external relationships.
• You should have experience at operating in an international environment.
• You should have a good understanding of the business and ability to deliver operating plans.
• You should have fluency in English, Arabic is a plus.
• You should be a team-player with high ethical standards.
• You should have experience working with Microsoft Office, Oracle & Hyperion.
• You should have a good working knowledge of IFRS standards and audit procedures.
• You should be a proactive individual focused on system and process improvements.
• You should have excellent communication skills.
• You should have the right attitude, positive mind set and passionate in driving and succeeding in one\'s career.
• You should have a calm disposition and ability to handle pressure.
