The Integrated Demand and Supply Planning (IDSP) practice of Chainalytics assists clients with creating more value out of their supply chain by improving their planning. For example, we support clients with implementing state-of-the art planning technologies (like e.g. o9 and BlueYonder), and we improve their forecast accuracy by using Artificial Intelligent (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies (like e.g. DataRobot, R and Python).

Beside technology implementations and data analytics our professionals work closely with clients on initiatives to balance demand and supply by helping them design their demand and supply planning processes, and ultimately, implement the executive S&OP process. For example, we make important trade-offs between inventories, costs and service transparent. This allows companies to determine their optimal in this so-called "Balancing Act".

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process design of demand planning and/or supply planning process by facilitating workshops, bringing in best-practices and collaborating with customer to tailor to its needs.
• Work closely with other team members to execute the methodology, performing certain tasks directly and delegating other tasks to junior consultants/analysts
• Work closely with the project manager and/or solution architect to develop, design and/or implement a solution for the client needs
• Interface with the client to acquire business data, information and insights
• Work closely with the project manager to design, develop, and integrate material for client presentations
• Support the project manager during presentations to the client
• Identify and communicate ways to improve Chainalytics\' solutions
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships
• Support creation of thought leadership materials (blogs, public speaking, etc.) that support Chainalytics\' overall brand and positioning
• Support the ongoing development of methodologies and new service offerings, including SaaS capabilities that generate recurring revenues where applicable.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or Transportation and Logistics is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in planning (i.e. demand planning, supply planning, S&OP) is preferred, with minimum of 4 years experience for Sr. Consultant
• Experience in supply chain consulting, especially involving solution design and implementation, is preferred
• Experience in implementing planning and scheduling solutions (like e.g. o9, BlueYonder) is preferred
• Experience with AI/ML technology is preferred
• Expertise for managing large-scale datasets in database, data mining and/or business intelligence tools is preferred
• Excellent client communication skills and experience
• Have superior and creative problem-solving skills
• The ability to travel as required (up to 50% - 70% over extended periods)
