- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will play a critical role in shaping and driving the data analytics stream within the strategic initiatives team of the MENA region - UAE, KSA and Egypt.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing the Analytics framework, defining business metrics, mining data to uncover consumer insights and business opportunity, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive the business. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and possess expertise in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders. The right candidate will blend advanced reporting with strong project management skills.
In this role, you will get an opportunity to closely work with Finance, MENA Tech team, Ops team and WW F3 stakeholders to improve the way we manage business at scale. You will make the best of your skillset in business, finance, simulation and business intelligence to explain, quantify, predict and prescribe. You will know how to translate business and financial goals into agile, insightful analytics. You will also seek to create value for both stakeholders and sellers, and will convey findings in a clear, actionable way to managers and senior leaders.
Key job responsibilities
Identifying opportunities to grow the business in a sustainable way, engaging with teams to set up the right mechanisms as well as owning the business performance.
Analyzing and diving deep on our business performance metrics, identifying possible changes and presenting insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
Build the capabilities for how we integrate science/analytics models necessary for evaluation and implementation of new strategies to support growth
Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets, updating existing metrics as well as create new metrics
Educate, inform, and drive business decisions by connecting your analysis through the lens of financial performance
Report results in a manner which is both statistically rigorous and compellingly relevant.
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, dashboards etc. to drive key business decisions
Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
Tune complex query performance using profiling tools and SQ
Experience working with Tableau
Experience using very large datasets
