Project Brief

A Business Analyst is required to join the implementation team for a large Revenue Cycle Management project implementation for a large multinational healthcare provider covering all aspects of insurance patient's workflow, medical billing and claims management.

The Business Analyst role is a function under the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solution delivery team that will be responsible for managing interactions with internal and external stake holders to document business and systems functional requirements related to the delivery of ACCUMED's products and services, exceeding client expectations through superior client relationship coordination, support, and delivery of well-defined project documentation, workflows and presentations. As well as being responsible for the coordination on proposed project plans, requirements engineering and change management.

This position is a stakeholder facing role, and requires that you establish and manage expectations within the business and implement the vision of senior management to achieve those expectations to a high standard. The role requires effective co-ordination of the strategic as well as onsite client consultancy projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising to enable effective transformation and realization of projected benefits.

SKILLS PROFILE:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and sound business case development
  • Extensive knowledge of techniques for requirements engineering, process mapping and documentation for project deliverables preferably in a healthcare provider environment.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and health information management is a plus.
  • Good understanding and practical experience in Revenue Cycle Management processes and technologies is preferred to drive best practice through processes, tools and techniques.
  • Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Responsibilities
  • Document all requirements and the business solution such that stakeholders, the development team and test team understand them clearly to go about their tasks.
  • Assess the impact of the solution on various stakeholders
  • Assess the feasibility of the recommended solution from a business perspective
  • Ensure that the solution development team understands the problem and the solution
  • Manage changes to business requirements and do an impact analysis.
  • Work with the test team during the test phase to ensure that solution is accurate and free of bugs and issues.
  • Work with the end users to help them understand the changes. Help the users to work with the new solution. Help the client in managing the solution such that there is minimum resistance to organizational changes due to the newly implemented solution.
Revenue Cycle Management Specific:
  • Support project teams through the design, build and implementation phases of Revenue Cycle project for client-side engagements.
  • Closely work with client revenue cycle teams to identify current and future transformation needs and opportunities.
  • Contributes to upgrades/enhancements, consulting resources and general operations as related to revenue cycle/billing information systems.
  • Review and report proposed improvements on ongoing productivity improvement, cost effectiveness, and total quality management of revenue cycle/billing processes and information systems.

Planning and Organizing
  • Plan and organize periodic task/delivery as per the required objectives or targets of the team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Technology, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a business analyst.
  • Advanced Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Apply self-learning practice to assure consistency in the relevant functions required to meet our targets and meet company's objectives and goals
  • Proposing frequently new ideas which assure continuous improvement in the relevant processes
  • A change agent and capable of guiding the organization in initiating various change management initiatives with the view of leading and guiding the organization towards the future.
