Job Description

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a versatile Business Analyst with strong Quality Assurance (QA) capabilities and UI/UX design awareness to join their in-house development and support team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, while also contributing to testing strategies and early-stage design through wireframing and prototyping. Experience in domains such as smart cities, smart parks and content management platforms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and use cases
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated)
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Create UI/UX wireframes and interactive prototypes to support requirement validation and stakeholder alignment
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and potential risks in requirements and solutions
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to ensure alignment
• Support defect tracking, triage, and resolution processes
• Maintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, test reports, and traceability matrices

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on QA involvement
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA processes
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or Azure DevOps
• Ability to write and execute test cases and perform defect analysis
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and ability to translate requirements into visual concepts
• Prior experience working with ticketing system, hardware/IoT and content management system
• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, dashboards, and analytics used in IoT solutions
• Experience with process mapping, workflow design, and gap analysis
• Experience with UAT planning, execution, and defect management
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, or related field
• Experience in enterprise-scale or government-related projects is an advantage

Skills Required
