Your role

The role is mainly business research and analysis within the framework of offset and strategy. You will be partly responsible for the delivery of Saab\xe2\x80\x99s expansion strategy in the UAE. Saab\xe2\x80\x99s Offset obligations in the UAE are an integral part of the business strategy. In this position, you will work in the strategy function as part of the business development & offset team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Offset Project Development Support: Support the team to identify, plan, and execute offset projects that align with our business objectives and contribute to the economic and industrial growth of the UAE. Leverage your analytical skills to ensure the successful implementation of these projects.

Data-Driven Risk Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to perform comprehensive risk assessments for Offsets projects. Utilize statistical methods to identify and quantify potential risks, providing a quantitative basis for risk evaluation and mitigation.

Data Collection and Interpretation: Collect, clean, and process data from diverse sources, transforming it into actionable insights. Utilize statistical tools to derive patterns, correlations, and trends that help inform risk assessments. Develop and implement statistical models to assess the impact of various risk factors on project outcomes. Use these models to create predictive scenarios and recommend data-informed response strategies.

Hypothesis Testing: Design and execute hypothesis tests to validate assumptions and evaluate the significance of risk factors. Employ statistical techniques to draw sound conclusions from data, enabling confident decision-making.

Project Analysis and Quantification: Analyse projects in terms of probabilities, potential impact, and cost implications. Create scorecards and reports that convey the statistical risk profiles of Offsets projects to stakeholders.

Data-Driven Business Intelligence: Utilize business intelligence tools and techniques to gather, process, and analyze data from various sources. Translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive informed business decisions and enhance project outcomes.

Business Development Support: Collaborate with business development teams to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the Offsets programs. Leverage your analytical skills to assess potential business prospects and provide valuable input.

Continuous Data-Driven Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance Offset practices and maintain a driven approach to project identification and risk mitigation.

Your desired skills and experience

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Minimum GPA 3.5

Strong English speaking and writing skills. IELTS score
6.5

Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (Microsoft Excel).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

What you will be a part of

Saab in the UAE is part of Business Area Surveillance, which provides efficient solutions for safety and security for surveillance and decision support and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions as well as traffic management systems.

Saab has offset obligations that have occurred through successful sales. These obligations are met through various projects that are managed in country. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
