We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Busbar Technician

to join our electrical manufacturing or assembly team. The Busbar Technician will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of busbar systems used in power distribution panels, switchgear, or industrial electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Interpretation:

Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings to ensure accurate construction and installation.

Busbar Fabrication:

Measure, cut, bend, punch, and drill copper/aluminum busbars according to technical drawings and specifications.

Insulation & Coating:

Apply insulation materials such as heat-shrink sleeves, epoxy coatings, or PVC to busbars as required.

Assembly & Installation:

Install busbars into electrical panels, switchgear, or enclosures, ensuring precise alignment and secure connections.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all electrical safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Material Handling:

Manage and maintain inventory of busbar materials, tools, and related supplies.

Mechanical fabrication and assembly:

Perform all types of Cutting, grinding, drilling, and tapping of metal parts. Installation of panel support structures, brackets, cable trays, and mechanical components. Assemble mechanical components and frames for power distribution units, switchboards, and MCCs. Use a wide range of hand and power tools such as angle grinders, bench drills, riveters, and torque wrenches. Ensure structural stability and mechanical integrity of all assemblies.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in busbar fabrication and mechanical assembly work. Ability to use busbar processing tools (e.g., cutters, benders, punching machines). Should be familiar with IEC standards and Local regulations such as DEWA,ADDC etc. Proficient in the use of fabrication machines and mechanical tools. Familiarity with both electrical and mechanical safety practices. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and fabrication instructions. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
