Estimating & Tendering
Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities from architectural and engineering drawings
Analyze plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate tenders
Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation
Assess project risks and allowances
Cost Management & Commercial Control
Monitor project costs against budgets and report variances
Prepare cash flow forecasts and cost reports
Manage variations, claims, and change orders
Assist with contract administration and progress valuations
Conduct cost-value reconciliations
Procurement & Contract Support
Assist with subcontractor procurement and contract negotiation
Review contracts to ensure financial and commercial compliance
Liaise with site teams to ensure accurate cost tracking
Project Support & Reporting
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams
Provide regular financial updates to management
Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Proven experience as a Building Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and contracts
Experience with residential, commercial, or civil projects (specify as required)
