Job Description

Job Summary:

The Building Mason is responsible for carrying out construction and masonry work using bricks, blocks, stone, and concrete in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform masonry work using bricks, blocks, stone, and concrete. Read and understand basic construction drawings and plans. Mix construction materials such as cement, sand, and mortar in correct proportions. Construct walls, foundations, columns, and other structural elements. Ensure accuracy, alignment, and level of completed work. Use construction tools and equipment safely and properly. Follow health and safety regulations on the construction site. Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines. Clean and maintain tools and work areas after completion.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in masonry or construction work (preferred 2-5 years). Good knowledge of construction materials and masonry techniques. Physical ability to perform manual labor. Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork. Vocational training or certification in masonry is a plus.
Required Skills:

Strong masonry and construction skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Time management and ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail and workmanship quality.
Work Conditions:

Work at indoor and outdoor construction sites.
