Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Block Mason

with proven experience in laying concrete blocks and performing high-quality plastering work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building block walls, applying plaster finishes, and ensuring durability, alignment, and surface smoothness.

Plastering experience is mandatory

for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Lay concrete blocks to build walls, partitions, and other structures based on layout drawings or site instructions. Mix mortar and cement materials in the correct proportions. Ensure blockwork is level, plumb, and aligned according to design specifications. Apply cement-based plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with smooth or textured finishes. Prepare surfaces before plastering (cleaning, applying bonding agents, fixing mesh if required). Patch and repair block walls and plastered surfaces as needed. Use hand and power tools such as trowels, floats, levels, and mixers. Maintain cleanliness and safety on the job site. Work collaboratively with other construction team members to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience

as a block mason with

hands-on plastering experience

(required). Strong knowledge of block laying, cement ratios, and plastering techniques. Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings. Familiarity with both rough and smooth finishing plaster work. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and working long hours. Understanding of site safety standards and use of PPE.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on residential, commercial, or villa projects. Prior work experience in the UAE or GCC region is a plus. Basic communication skills in English or other regional languages.

Working Conditions:

Work on outdoor and indoor construction sites. Exposure to dust, heat, and heavy materials. Requires bending, lifting, standing, and manual labor throughout the day. May involve extended hours and weekend work depending on project timelines.
