About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Brand Manager to join Brand & Digital Marketing team in Jumeirah Group. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Brand creation and management:
Develop, implement, and guard brand and content guidelines for verbal and visual communication, including photography, videography, and collateral, ensuring outcome, usage, and compliance across all Jumeirah hotels.
Apply Jumeirah brand values to new openings locally and globally, and develop property specific positioning documents, identities, guidelines, and programs where required - liaising with key departments across the organization so these become a brand differentiator, guide, and best practice across Jumeirah globally.
Assist in creation, development, and implementation of new hotel and F&B concepts within the Group\'s portfolio, including core value proposition, naming, strategic pillars, visual identity, tone of voice, visual and verbal communication, brand positioning, stories, and differentiators.
Oversee design, production, and delivery of brand materials (offline and online) while negotiating with third party suppliers.
Manage creative agencies in the production of brand content, visual identity, and applications.
Support the management of Jumeirah\'s sponsorship strategy, relationship management, and measurement.
Initiate and manage engagement with agencies and third-party suppliers for end-to-end production of brand requirements, including brief writing, scope writing, contract management (in conjunction with our Supply Chain and Legal teams), negotiations, budget management, production, quality control, implementation and application.
Roll out and implementation:
Pre-opening support to roll out the brand in new properties globally and ensure standards and guidelines are maintained while working in conjunction with key operational departments across Jumeirah and provide assistance and guidance where required, monitoring operational compliance
Support Director Brand and VP of Marketing in engaging with the training, marketing, and HR departments to ensure brand standards are infused into employee trainings and on-boarding. Ensure consistent brand messaging through brand immersion sessions for all external agencies and partners, owners, developers, hotels, and other stakeholders as required.
Brand auditing after roll-pout to ensure adherence to brand guidelines, programs, and guest experiences through the Jumeirah portfolio and operational verticals.
Visit properties for ad-hoc brand auditing and compliance visits.
Growth
Support Director of Brand and VP of Marketing in using research, market trends, and aggregate guest feedback to highlight areas for improvement and differentiation, developing and presenting strategies, business drivers, etc.
Collect and develop presentations on key data points to support the distribution of the Jumeirah brand in market.
Attend conferences and trainings as required.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing, Business, Brand Management, or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
Solid understanding of brand building, brand development, brand measurement, and marketing strategies
Strong understanding of marketing and media strategy, planning, and campaign management
Good understanding of content development and campaign production
Strong communications and writing skills
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong project management skills across multiple workstreams, including time management and reporting
Strong presentation development and delivery skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
At least 4 years of marketing experience, preferably with a recognized hospitality or travel organization (such as hotel, destination management office, or trade partner) or luxury brand, etc.
