Purpose To manage overall service operations continually driving service quality of resources and efficient services provided to ship-owners, charterers, ship masters, terminals, shippers, receivers, relevant authorities, and service providers within designated ports and Oman geography.

Who will you be reporting to? The Branch in Charge for Duqm reports to the Ships Agency Operations Manager, Oman

Main responsibilities . Overall responsible for the port and site operations ensuring the highest service quality including effective. . management of risks, revenues, and related margins. . Overall Ships Agency QHSSE compliance within assigned location/s and use of Take-5 ELog, PowerBl, . Salesforce & E-Learnings as appropriate. . Ensure that Ships Agency performance and service quality is always conducted according to Standard. . Operating Procedures (SOP) and operating governance . Overall responsible for supporting and ultimately driving the collection of receivables. . Ensure efficient and competent resources are appointed at port location(s) with allocated budgets. . Ensure sustained profitable port operations with a persistent focus on increasing revenue, whilst driving efficiencies to control costs . Ensure the correct amount of pre-funding is received, or the correct level of authority has approved any deviation, before performing the port call, in line with the Chart of Authority. The same is to be ensured when additional funding is required prior vessel's sailing. . Ensure DA is competitive, dispatched on time and accurately reflects the true port costs. . Ensure procedures relevant to Disbursement Accounts production are implemented and optimized. Ensure evaluation of vendors and suppliers at least once annually ensuring compliance with WSS procurement governance and reporting within relevant systems. . Proactively identify new means of achieving cost savings, including vendor discounts using Vendor/Supplier Management system on behalf of the company and principal . Actively identify new business and sales opportunities in the territory/country and work with the Ships Agency . Sales to promote local ports to customers. . Ensure provision of 24-backup communications where needed. . Ensure onboarding and regular training are conducted for all employees. . Ensure In-Country Value (ICV) targets are met, and local talent improvement and career progression are focused.

Accountabilities: This position will be measured within the assigned territory against Key Performance Indicators KPI's : YoY improvement of 15% growth target in revenue and margins 1. Port Sales and EBIT contribution to assigned geography. 2. Compliance level to 100% adherence to SA-SOO & WSS SA- Business Standards & Processes 3. Compliance with the ISQ 9001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. Take 5, E-Log, Improvement Potentials (IP) 4. Service Quality level (Customer satisfaction/ IP response effectiveness/Blue Pennant/salesforce 5. AR>credit time to assigned geography.

Qualifications . Maritime background and experience in Ships Agency Operations. . Min. 7 years of hands-on supervisory experience in Agency Operations - Port Agency and maritime Logistics . Computer literate with good communication skills and command of the English language (oral and written). . Familiar with Port and local Authorities' regulations, procedures, and governing tariffs. . Ability to effectively plan & and direct an operation without compromising on the safety of personnel and vessel. . Ability to motivate the team for customer and business development-driven service approach Process and system understanding. . Ability to multitask and organize under pressure without compromising the safety of the stakeholders involved. . Strong mentoring and customer relationship skills. . Self-motivated and result orientated with good awareness on cost control measures.

Additional preferences - (Local requirements in addition to mandatory requirements) . An understanding of the region's market as a key driver for achieving business growth and efficiencies. Oman experience is preferable. . Good communication skills and command of the Arabic language (oral and written) . Knowledge of QHSSE & Finance
