We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Boom Truck Driver to operate boom-equipped trucks for transporting and lifting heavy materials to construction or industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have experience handling heavy equipment, ensuring load security, and following safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate boom trucks to transport and deliver materials to job sites.
Load and unload materials using the truck's hydraulic boom crane.
Inspect trucks and equipment before and after trips; report maintenance needs.
Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and dispatch.
Maintain accurate delivery and inspection records.
Requirements:
Valid CDL (Class B or A) with clean driving record.
Certified crane operator (NCCCO or equivalent, if required).
Proven experience operating boom trucks.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and load limits.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Good communication and time management skills.
