We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Bookkeeping Officer to join our growing team at IIQAF. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the finances and accounting activities of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processes, and information systems;
Recording and reconciling financial transactions;
Preparing and submitting monthly financial statements;
Assisting with the preparation of financial audits;
Maintaining detailed records of financial transactions;
Reconciling accounts and making adjustments as necessary;
Providing comprehensive financial reports to management;
Coordinating with other departments to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance with procedures;
Maintaining a complete set of books and records;
Developing and testing internal controls;
Developing and implementing new policies and procedures;
Developing and managing budgets;
Analyzing spending and budgeting performance;
Generating monthly/quarterly management reports;
Coordinating with external auditors;
Working closely with senior teams members to explain financial activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Proven experience as a Bookkeeping Officer or similar role;
Working knowledge of financial legislation;
Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles;
Solid knowledge of data analysis methods and techniques;
Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel;
Highly organized with exceptional time management skills;
Strong attention to detail;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills;
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
