Booking Officer (ocean Export Arabic Speaker)
Job Description
Secure slots on vessels with carriers as per the annual booking plan and on an advanced basis. Ensure the booking information is updated on the system on a planned basis.
Coordinate with customers to meet their bookings needs.
Act as a contact point with customers, receive, respond, and follow up on all booking management issues and escalate them internally or externally when needed.
Acts as an escalation point with shipping lines, for mis rated bookings, equipment issues, and any booking-related issues.
Report to the direct manager on a regular basis, on ocean bookings problematic situations, bottlenecks, and suggested solutions.
Update vendor's contracts and prices on the system on a regular basis (Create/maintain/inactivate).
Revise freight invoices and file disputes with carriers via the available channels.
Interviews expected by Mid December-24.

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
shipping line: 1 year (Preferred)
NVOCC: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
