Role Overview

We are looking for experienced

Boiler Technicians

to join a facilities maintenance project at a major healthcare facility in Qatar. The position focuses on the operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of steam and hot-water boiler systems to ensure reliable and safe performance.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain steam and hot-water boilers, burners, pumps, feedwater systems, and related auxiliary equipment. Perform inspections, cleaning, blow-downs, and water-treatment checks to maintain efficiency and proper boiler chemistry. Diagnose and repair issues involving boiler control systems, valves, level indicators, gauges, and safety devices. Maintain accurate logs of operating parameters, maintenance activities, and fuel usage. Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities as scheduled. Assist in inspection, pressure testing, and safety-valve calibration procedures. Follow all site safety, lockout/tagout, and permit-to-work systems. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC teams to maintain continuous operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Technical diploma or trade certificate (minimum 3-year course) in Mechanical Engineering, Boiler Operation, or related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of recent maintenance or service experience in the same trade. Solid understanding of boiler operations, water-treatment processes, and combustion systems. Experience in healthcare, institutional, or large commercial facilities is an advantage. Ability to read technical drawings and complete maintenance documentation. Good teamwork, communication, and safety awareness.

Compensation & Employment Conditions

Salary Range:

QAR 1,800 - 2,100 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Allowances:

Food allowance QAR 300 per month
