To operate, monitor, and maintain boiler systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted steam supply for tobacco processing and manufacturing operations, while strictly adhering to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor industrial boilers to generate steam required for tobacco processing, curing, and production activities. Ensure boiler operations comply with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies. Conduct daily checks on pressure, temperature, water level, fuel supply, and safety valves. Perform boiler start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures as per SOPs. Maintain proper water treatment to prevent scaling, corrosion, and boiler damage. Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs. Monitor and optimize fuel efficiency and steam output. Identify abnormalities, leakages, or unsafe conditions and report immediately. Ensure proper handling and storage of fuel and chemicals used in boiler operations. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the boiler area. Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks by authorities.
