Boat Crew Oiler
Job Description
Measuring depth of water in shallow or unfamiliar waters, using lead line, and informs to bridge. Assist Chief Engineer during regular gauge checks, Equipment repair, Maintenance of lubricating and cooling oil supply Keep clean engine rooms and reporting management if any issue persists. Performs regular preventative maintenance work on machinery, checks running hours on machinery and orders oil and parts, as required. Performs checks of all safety equipment used for firefighting, lifesaving drills, and first aid equipment to ensure it is in good working condition also overhauls lifeboats and lifeboat gear and lowers or raises lifeboats with winch. Checks all batteries, elevator and emergency generator on a weekly basis. Keeping clean boats, if necessary, Re-Paints and chips rust on deck. Assist Crew while embarking / disembarking personnel and during loading / offloading stores and cargos. Job Type: Full-time
