Job Description

BMS Operator are responsible to supervise and control the operation of the Building Management System and monitor all plant activities.



BMS Operator key role is to monitor the Building Management System for any alarms or any abnormalities and proactively coordinate with the respective ground team to mitigate or overcome the risk, with excellent troubleshooting skills. They must but not limited to:

In-depth knowledge MEP systems and its functionality.

Familiarity in navigating all the Building Management System supplied by various vendors such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schnieder, Sauter, etc.

Analyse the behaviour of the plants with respect to the set point and setting up the various control parameters

Aware of MEP system sequence of operation, standard operating procedures.

Mindful of building fire cause & effect interface with MEP system.

Perform daily auditing of plant performance by utilizing the facilities built on the building management system (BMS) e.g., data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.

Analyse reasons of failure of plants and provides specific diagnostic, problem analysis and specify the necessary remedial actions for Supervisors approval

Use the historical logged data of various plants to review the system and propose improvements in order to enhance the system efficiency and / or reduce the operation cost as well as improve the services provided to customer

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

A keen eye for detail.




Requirements:

Previous experience working as an BMS Operator.

In-depth knowledge of MEP Systems.

Familiarity with computers and IP Networking Systems.

Self-motivated with a hands-on and flexible approach and be able to adapt to unpredictable events.

Pro-active and reliable and will thrive through working in a busy environment and stay calm under pressure, have attention to details

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

A keen eye for detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.



Bachelor degree / 3 years Diploma Holder

In Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with experience in BMS application

BMS operator role for a tenure of 5 years

Hospitality Must for a minimal tenure of 3 years in more than 3 star rated hotel
