Position:

BMS Operator

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and Operate Systems

: Oversee the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure efficient operation of HVAC, lighting, and security systems.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building systems to resolve any alarms or faults promptly.

Data Analysis

: Analyze data from the BMS to identify trends and optimize system performance, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.

Documentation

: Document all maintenance activities, system updates, and performance reports to maintain accurate records.

Collaboration

: Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and improvements to building systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical diploma or certification in HVAC, building automation, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

: At least 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining building management systems is typically required.

Technical Knowledge

: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as familiarity with BMS software and hardware.

Problem-Solving Skills

: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to address system issues effectively.

Communication

: Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders and provide technical support.
