Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for alarms and alerts related to HVAC, lighting, electrical, water, fire, and other integrated systems Operate and adjust system parameters based on real-time requirements or as per instruction from the engineering team Respond promptly to system alarms, identify root causes, and escalate unresolved issues to relevant departments Log and record BMS events, faults, and system performance data accurately Assist in routine and preventive maintenance schedules related to BMS and associated building systems Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues Ensure optimal energy usage through continuous monitoring and adjustment of system setpoints Maintain a safe and secure control room environment and ensure data confidentiality Participate in system testing, upgrades, and new equipment commissioning Report anomalies, incidents, and system faults to the BMS Engineer or Supervisor

Requirements:

Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field 3-5 years of proven experience operating BMS systems in large facilities (UAE/GCC experience preferred) Strong knowledge of BMS software platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Tridium, or Johnson Controls Familiarity with HVAC, electrical systems, chillers, pumps, and fire alarm integration Ability to read technical drawings and system schematics Basic troubleshooting skills related to BMS alarms and subsystems Good communication and reporting skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
