Job Description
The Biofuel Trader will actively engage in the buying and selling of sustainable biofuels. This role involves analyzing market trends, negotiating transactions, maintaining supplier and client relationships, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute trades involving biofuel products, ensuring profitable margins and adherence to sustainability standards. Monitor global and regional market trends, pricing strategies, and market fluctuations to identify trading opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry stakeholders. Negotiate favorable terms and pricing structures for purchase and sale contracts. Manage logistics and coordinate shipping and distribution processes with internal teams and external partners. Ensure compliance with UAE and international regulatory frameworks related to biofuel trading. Prepare regular market analysis and trading reports for management. Identify and manage risks associated with biofuel trading.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of direct experience in biofuel or commodities trading, preferably within the UAE or GCC markets. Strong knowledge of biofuel markets, pricing mechanisms, and trading dynamics. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proven ability to build and maintain effective business relationships. Familiarity with sustainability criteria and environmental standards in biofuel trading. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trading platforms/software.
